User Demand Makes PlayStation get Fortnite Xbox Cross-Play

The Hell is frozen over now. A lot of fans have been waiting for this day, and it is finally here. A new announcement took place, and Sony made some of the fortnite fans’ day better. It will support cross-progression and cross-play in Fortnite between, PC, Xbox One, Mac, Android. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and iOS. Over the past year this features, cross-play, has become super popular and fans are delighted to see that Sony has listened to them and is offering them what they want and need.

Even Bethesda, a few weeks ago, said that they would give up a lot of games such as The Elder Scrolls: Legends to PlayStation 4 if cross-progression and a cross-play system could not be used. However, the biggest scandal happened in the Fortnite community because every time a player would link their account to a PlayStation 4, they would get locked out from other platforms that offer cross-progression.

What we hope for is that the Fortnite open beta will go smooth enough that the cross-progression and cross-play will finally happen between more games on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In case you did not know and needed to understand this article better, we will explain the cross-progression and the cross-play future for you.

In fact, the future of the gaming industry stays in the cross-progression and cross-play feature. The announcement that happened today might even have made it possible for Minecraft to come in the process and get updated to the Bedrock version so it will be available on the platform of Sony. Even though it took quite some time to happen, we must agree that the wait was worth it. We will finally be able to cross-progress and cross-play the way we always wanted to.
