Smartphone companies are trying to improve the battery lives of their products. This is exactly what OnePlus did as well, and it appears that the battery for OnePlus 6T will be a major improvement compared to the one of OnePlus.
A recent report revealed certain details about the upcoming mobile phone. The big battery definitely caught our attention. The OnePlus will come with 3,700 mAh battery, 400 mAh bigger than the OnePlus 6 battery. This was revealed by Cnbeta. We should also remember that the OnePlus 6 is based on the Oppo R17 Pro, which also comes with a 3,700 mAh battery. Cnbeta also posted a picture of the battery package and we can see other details such as its nominal voltage (3.85Vdc) and its rated capacity.

The OnePlus 6T device will be released on October 17th and we already know some of the most important details. For example, we know that the OnePlus 6T will join other smartphones, and it won’t come with a headphone jack. Co-founder Carl Pei explained that this decision was taken in order to make more space for the battery. “By removing the jack we’ve freed up more space, allowing us to put more new technology into the product. One of the big things is something our users have asked us for, improved battery life,” he declared.

On the other hand, users will receive an in-display fingerprint sensor. Nonetheless, don’t expect any chip improvements, since Snapdragon 845 remains the best option available on the market.
