Despite its Progress, Crackdown 3 still Requires More Work

Phil Spencer, the Xbox boss, feels that so far, the open world title managed to progress nicely in terms of its development although this part of the process has been pretty troublesome for Crackdown 3. The game was already announced back in 2014 and it was supposed to be launched two years later. Of course, it is pretty obvious that this didn’t happen.

It had to go through a delaying process for multiple times until we finally got some closure. After its previous delay, Crackdown 3 was finally confirmed by Microsoft and it seems that we will have to wait until the February of next year to get our hands on this highly anticipated game. However, there are pretty of doubts on people’s minds. That’s because the game had to go through multiple delays and we don’t know what to expect or if the game is capable of turning out as good as people want it to.

Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer told us to relax because he is confident that the game is progressing nicely. When he was prompted by a fan on Twitter who was expressing his strong desire for Crackdown 3, Spencer had to admit that even though he knows that the game still has to endure some more work, based on what he tried himself quite recently, the dev team did some pretty good work.

He added as well that “my agent felt like the wrecking machine I enjoy”. If we listen to current reports, it would seem that the last time Crackdown 3 was delayed was also the last time that Microsoft allowed itself to do so. If another problem should occur, it is more than likely that the game will get canceled. We hope that it isn’t the case and that Crackdown 3 will really arrive on February 26, 2019 for both the PC and Xbox One.
