At last, we know what FortniteMares, Fortnite’s Halloween event, will come for all the versions of the games, for consoles, computers, iOS, and Android. The event already began with a new game mode called in which gamers will have to face hundreds of monsters. As usual during these types of events, Fortnite’s new gameplay is accompanied by other new features such as exclusive weapons and Halloween skins, and other improvements to the game.
The new time-limited Fortnite mode for Halloween is a kind of horde mode, as you must eliminate different types of monsters that arise from the pieces of the famous cube that has been moving around the island for a long time. The fragments of the hub are found near the corrupt areas of the island, but new pieces are added that will appear randomly throughout the game.
During Fortnite’s Halloween game, killing one of these monsters results in a small amount of shield. Also, the new game mode allows you to use Fortnite’s new weapon, the demon-hunting crossbow capable of 40 basic damage points, 1.8 shots per second and an X4 damage multiplier against demons. It can be found randomly, in chests and vending machines.

Fortnite’s new Halloween game mode has its own challenges. If you want to meet them all before the end of this special event you’ll have to:
- Destroy monsters from the cube;
- Infringing damage to cube monsters with assault rifles or pistols;
- Dancing in front of different gargoyles, and more;
These challenges will change every day, but if you meet them all, you will get the hang glider shaped like a dark locomotive.
As far as the new weapons are concerned, new Halloween skins have been added. Now, the rocket launcher no longer launches missiles, but pumpkins and, additionally, the demon-hunting crossbow comes into the game along with a six-ball revolver
