There are some fresh details emerged speaking about the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer and how much different will Red Dead Online could be on Xbox One and PS4.
The next important launch coming from Rockstar Games still remains surrounded by a cloud of mystery as only a rough release schedule was confirmed by the team of developers. From what has been already released concerning the Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer mode, we concluded that we should see it arrive by the end of November.
However, when it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2 Online there is not much else being revealed. This means that fans have to rely on the leaks surrounding the multiplayer release. One of them apparently suggests that the new beta for Red Dead Online is going to be different from GTA Online in one very big way.
GTA Online was, as you probably know by now, the last major multiplayer project coming from Rockstar Games and it proved to be a huge success with fans. This led to expectations building up that the development team will try to emulate their success with Red Dead Redemption 2.
According to the studio, they confirmed that they will use GTA Online as a form of template and make sure they use some of the best ideas for it. Of course, this will include blending gameplay with narrative excursions, something similar to what we saw with the Doomsday Heist.
However, Rockstar is also on a quest of making something different which will make fans enjoy and feel like they are not just playing a clone of GTA Online. The first step towards this would be the launch of Red Dead Online beta on Xbox One and PS4.
