Samsung has ambitious plans with its anniversary smartphone series, the Galaxy S10 lineup. Now, according to the latest rumors, Samsung would implement a dark mode theme in Galaxy S10. Allegedly, the Samsung Galaxy S10 would come out with a night mode called “Bright Night.”
Huawei P20 Pro was the first smartphone to come out with a night mode, dubbed as simple as “Night Mode,” while shortly after that then Google introduced “Night Sight” via an Android 9 Pie update. According to XDA Developers, Samsung is going to implement its own night mode in Galaxy S10 – “Bright Night.”
As reported by GSM Arena, Bright Night on the future Galaxy S10 “is effectively taking multiple pictures and combining them into a single brighter image with more detail in the low-light environment.”
The sources of this information found details on this “Bright Night” function after decompiling the stock Samsung camera APK of the One UI/Android Pie build on Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Might Boast A Night Mode Called “Bright Night”
While we don’t know yet if Samsung plans to add this feature to Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup models exclusively or it might implement it within the One UI for many other devices, we know that Galaxy S10 would be the first Samsung smartphone to enjoy this night mode called “Bright Night.”
In other news, Mobile Fun, citing the renowned leaker Ben Geskin, revealed that Samsung’s anniversary S10 models would be named Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S10 Edge. However, no new information on the Galaxy S10 Special Edition has been revealed. Apparently, Samsung Galaxy S10 Special Edition would be the Edge one, but we just don’t know yet for sure.
However, we’re only about two months apart from the official presentation of the Galaxy S10 lineup, scheduled to take place before the MWC 2019.
