First spotted on December 22nd, a Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout glitch causes the game to freeze on Xbox One X. Now, Treyarch came out and discussed the Blackout mode crash issues, and promised to launch a fix as soon as possible.
Since the new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 rolled out on the market, about a couple of months ago, many players have become the fans of the game’s Battle Royale mode – Blackout. Despite it being the most popular mode of the game, Treyarch messed up the things with the release of the latest update.
Since the new Blackout update rolled out on December 18th, players on Xbox One X reported crashes and freezes. In a recent post on Twitter, Treyarch announced the community that the company acknowledged about the glitch and a fix is on its way.
Treyarch Commented On The Call Of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout Mode Crash Issues On Xbox One X
“We are aware that Xbox One X players are experiencing an intermittent freeze during late-game play in Blackout. We are actively investigating and will deploy an update as soon as we have a resolution to the issue. We will update you once that happens,” said Treyarch Studios on its official Twitter page.
Even though it would be challenging for Xbox One X players to win in Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, gamers on the before-mentioned platform should arm themselves with patience because Treyarch said nothing about when the fix to that bug would come out. According to how fast Treyarch released patches previously, we should expect the error fix to roll out slowly.
In the meantime, gamers can enjoy other Call of Duty Black Ops 4 modes or hope they won’t get a crash while in the middle of the combat in the Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale mode, Blackout.
