If you are a regular Fortnite player, then you need to get some Battle Stars now that 2019 has begun. It is on your new year’s resolution list, we know it!
Right now, we are in Season 7, week 5 and there are new challenges you must complete to earn those Battle Stars.
If you are a bit new to the game, here’s a breakdown of the challenges – like how to complete them and what you need to do that.
Two Types of Challenges
There are two types of challenges – the free ones and the ones that are exclusive to players that spend V-Bucks for a premium Battle Pass.
When you complete challenges, you get as a reward Battle Stars which you can use to upgrade your Battle Pass and unlock cosmetic content. If you already have a premium pass, you can complete more challenges and earn more Battle Stars and unlock cosmetic content a lot faster.
The free challenges in week 5 are the following:
Deal damage to the structures built by an opponent, eliminate three players with a silenced weapon and the multi-stage challenge is to land at Polar Peak.
The premium challenges for those that have a Battle Pass in week 5 are the following:
Search for a location which must be right between a giant rock man, a crowned tomato and an encircled tree, eliminate an enemy player from a certain distance, search chests in Wailing Woods and Paradise Palms and complete a challenge which is comprised of multiple actions, beginning with dancing on top or a water tower.

The Latest Fortnite Update – Introducing the Boom Box
As for the latest update rolled out by Epic Games, it was on January 2, when they introduced several tweaks and also the Boom Box. This item will do a lot of damage to built structures, and it’s perfect to remove the barriers between you and your enemies you’re trying to kill. If you are the one that is attacked with a Boom Box, you can counter it by shooting it.
