Motorola Moto Z4 Play Leak: Will It Really Be a 5G Phone?

We’ve recently seen a new smartphone from Lenovo, the Moto Z4 Play and we’re here to talk about some more details. There are some leaks out there, and some specs and features are visible, and until we have an official statement, we cannot but deduce all the others. There’s a Moto Mod on the back of the phone, that might be a hint on the fact that the smartphone is capable of 5G connectivity.

Specs

The device will probably have a 6.2-inch display and the dimensions are worth of 158mmx75 mmx7.25 mm. As we’re used with most of the Moto phones, there’s a camera bump placed on the back, so the thickness gets to 9.4 mm. As we saw, it will have a single camera rear, with a LED flash. They’re put in a circle that lifts a bit from the rear panel. On the front, there’s a notch on top that’s the form on a water drop and will be where the selfie camera is placed.

The volume buttons and the power button are put in the right side of the frame. There’s no fingerprint sensor, neither on the sides, nor on the rear. This probably means that it will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, but we have to wait to know for sure.

There’s a 3.5 mm jack and a USB-C port, and, of course, that tiny hole for the microphone.

How about 5G services?

With all the thing with 5G services, only launched in the UK and US, we’re not sure if the phone will actually come with this feature. Perhaps it will, at some point, when the European market will follow. South Korea already does lots of tests, and Samsung and Huawei will soon launch their first phones this way.
