Razer Raptor Is A New, High-End 27-Inch Gaming Monitor

Between January 8th and January 11th, CES 2019 would take place in Las Vegas, NV, in the United States. CES 2019 is the first important IT & Tech conference of the year, where all the major tech companies will hold press conferences and present their latest products plus the upcoming ones. Many announcements are expected during CES 2019, but today we’ll talk about Razer Raptor, a new, high-end 27-inch gaming monitor.

At CES 2019, Razer would present a prototype of the hardware. However, the Razer Raptor gaming monitor would be more than just a prototype as the company plans to roll it out later this year at a starting price of $699.

Razer Raptor would be an impressive monitor for PC gaming, and it would boast thin bezels and a green-colored integrated cord management system which includes a power cord, HDMI, Display Port, USB-C and USB-A. That’s a nice touch that doesn’t break the design and color scheme of the latest gaming monitor.

As for its specs, the new Razer Raptor 27-inch gaming monitor comes with 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 7ms response rate. Users can activate Motion Blur reduction mode to enjoy 1ms response rate.

Also, Razer Raptor supports HDR and AMD FreeSync technology. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with Nvidia G-Sync tech. Besides, Razer Raptor boasts a forged aluminum base with a metal backplate and Chroma-compatible LED light strips. In addition to all that, this new, high-end 27-inch gaming monitor supports picture-in-picture input capabilities and screen mirroring a Razer Phone 2 via a USB-C.

Along with this Razer Raptor, the new Razer Blade 15 Advanced gaming laptop would also roll out with hexacore 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor, up to 8 Gb of RAM, and the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 20 laptop GPUs. Razer Blade 15 Advanced would launch by the end of the month, so we should also expect the new Razer Raptor gaming monitor to come out by then.
