Supercell’s mobile game Clash of Clans is popular all over the world, and it’s not surprising as they keep adding fresh content and updating the game. Adding Clan Wars was a great idea too, and with recurring events and offers that happen every week, it’s enough to keep you playing for a long time without getting bored.
This week Clash of Clans has been in maintenance for a few hours as they rolled out a new update. This time they introduced Bat Spell balancing.
On their blog, the Clash of Clans team wrote in their patch notes that they have worked on the Bat Spell for some “additional balance changes.”
Nerfing the Bat Spell – How Bad Is It?
The number of bats will be lowered, so instead of Level 1 – 10, Level 2 – 12, Level 3 – 14, Level 4 – 18, Level 5 – 22, you now get: Level 1 – 7, Level 2 – 9, Level 3 – 11, Level 4 – 16, Level 5 – 21.
The first attack delay used to be 1.0 seconds, but it is now changed to 1.5 seconds.
What didn’t change was the damage done by each bat, which is still some good news.
Will players have to totally rethink their strategy?
According to many CoC players, the following balancing has nerfed the Bat Spell and thought that the change would kill the spell altogether. However, some players believe that the spell is still good for TH 11 and TH12.
In other news, Supercell has announced that players can now sign-up for the January season of Clan War Leagues. Only Clan Leaders can sign up their Clan to compete against seven Clans, win bonus loot, League Medals and win Clan XP.
What do you think? Is the Bat Spell out of the Meta, or can you still use it in raids or league wars?
