Nintendo Switch and 3DS users have now the opportunity to buy their most favorite games from the Humble Store. The firm operating the Humble Store that donates a share of the most purchased titles to charity is now selling Nintendo games, expansions, season passes and Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions.
Nintendo Switch gamers can now buy Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon Let’s Go!, Super Mario Party, Mario Tennis Aces, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Mario Odyssey from the Humble Store. As for the 3DS players, they can purchase a long list of classics, such as the Pokemon role-playing games and NES titles like Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda.
“More than 40 Nintendo games and add-ons are available from Humble’s store – and only in the United States. Humble account holders are receiving a $5 discount on Nintendo games ($19.99 and up) via email, which will make that paid online subscription a little easier to swallow,” as reported by Polygon.
Nintendo Switch and 3DS Games Are Now Available On Humble Store
Now, unfortunately for those who would like to buy games to donate to charity, the Humble Store would keep all the revenue raised by selling Nintendo Switch and 3DS games. Thus, the game store is not going to donate the money it raised from Nintendo games purchases.
“Nintendo and Humble have worked together in the past on indie-focused Humble Bundles. The first, featuring Wii U and 3DS games like Guacamelee and SteamWorld Dig, arrived in 2015. A second Nintendo Humble Bundle hit in 2016. Hopefully, Nintendo and Humble will extend those bundles to Switch users in the near future,” Polygon’s Michael McWhertor wrote.
In short, Nintendo Switch and 3DS games are now available on Humble Store, but the platform is not going to donate the money it obtains via selling Nintendo games.
