Last week, NetherRealm Studios revealed its upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, and along the presentation, we could observe a part of the fighters to make the roster in the new Mortal Kombat game. Among them, there is Geras, by far the coolest new character that reached the game lately. Here’s why Geras is indeed very intriguing.
Geras Is The Coolest New Character That Reached Mortal Kombat 11
Geras looks like a regular fighter with some teleportation and freezes moves, two of the most common special abilities in Mortal Kombat. Geras also has the ability to manipulate stone and sand. However, not for these special moves is Geras the coolest character in Mortal Kombat 11.
The most intriguing special abilities NetherRealm Studios has ever added to the game are Geras’ abilities to manipulate time – Lost Time and Spare Time. Lost Time reduced the in-game timer by 30 seconds, while Spare Time adds 30 seconds to the clock. These two moves are powerful, and both Lost Time and Spare Time account for two ability slots out of the total of three.
Besides, Geras also has the so-called Rewind Time ability which teleports him back in time but only for four seconds, though. However, Rewind Time moves Geras back in time both regarding his position and health. Nonetheless, Geras also packs the so-called Reawakened ability which resurrects him when his health bar drains.
Undoubtedly, Geras would be a favorite fighter in Mortal Kombat 11 and a hard-to-beat character when gamers would face him.
