Red Dead Redemption 2 Online: Free Gold, Incoming Massive Update Brings Changes, Fixes, Improvements, New Content

Until recently, Rockstar Games has pushed numerous updates for Red Dead Redemption 2 on both PS4 and Xbox One platforms. However, since most of the die-hard gamers have finished the single-player mode, they are waiting for Red Dead Online and more content.

The devs have announced on their website that they are currently working on it and will introduce many new features with a future update:

Our teams are currently working on lots of fixes, changes and improvements to the game based on player feedback including the quality of life improvements that we detailed in our last status update.

They promise to improve the following:

“Proximity-Based Player Blips, Parley Changes with quicker access to Feuding, Law and Bounty Improvements to discourage griefing while introducing a new Free roam dynamic between bounty hunters and criminal rogues,” adding that they will introduce “Daily Challenges with gold nugget rewards and more.”

When Will Red Dead Online Beta End?

However, when they introduce these changes, we only know that they should go live in a few months, but Rockstar added in their announcement that when they get closer to the date, they will come back with more information:

We are currently planning to have these and other improvements to the game included in a Title Update scheduled for release in the coming months.

Until these updates roll out, players should try and enjoy the contented in the Beta Online and its freebies. According to the Express, this weekend’s five free Gold Bars will end today, and it will be added to your income at the end of this month – we recommend you get them while it’s hot so you can keep it for the incoming stuff!

The Races and Showdown modes will soon come, but we know everyone is waiting for the big update which will also bring new story missions.

So far, the multiplayer mode is still in the beta, so this means players can experience bugs, crashes or issues connecting to the server. According to the update from Rockstar, we think that the beta testing will not end by the end of this spring:

Red Dead Online will stay in beta for a few more months yet as we have many more new gameplay features to add across the board as well as further changes to improve, stabilise and refine the overall experience.
