Fallout 76 Players Gain Access to Vault 63 After a Glitch, Bethesda Community Manager Responds

After Fallout 76 players sneaked into the game’s ‘dev room’ and got banned last month, some players were shocked to see themselves somehow teleported into Vault 63.

As soon as they saw this happen, they reported it on the Fallout 76 subreddit, showing proof and explaining the situation:

DISCLAIMER: We entered the vault accidentally while doing a Rad-Rat Horde event. There are no pictures of the event beforehand, because we had no way of knowing what was about to happen!

We’ve somehow managed to do an event inside Vault 63. We’re now trapped in here. So enjoy pictures and Bethesda, send a Vault-Tec rescue party!

Will They Get Banned?

It’s a normal reaction for these players that really didn’t want to get banned, so they also tweeted Bethesda and sent a ticket to Bethesda Support to ask them not to ban the players that were somehow inside Vault 63 and got stuck inside.

A few hours ago, the Bethesda Community Manager, replied:

Glad to hear you got in and out of the Vault in one piece. These Vaults are still under construction, but we look forward to sharing more on how they will become part of the game. In the meantime, we also appreciate when players like yourself let us know about stuff like this. We have shared with the team and will let you know if we have any follow up questions. Thank you!

Thankfully, the players didn’t get banned, but they did manage to snap some shots inside the vault. Other players experienced the same glitch when the event began and they were fast travelled inside the inaccessible vault.

According to PC Gamer, “Vault 63 is sealed in Fallout 76: there’s a keycard slot next to the entrance, but nobody has been able to get in legitimately.” Until now! Check out the entire conversation on this issue on Reddit where you can also check out the rest of the photos taken inside as proof.
