Apex Legends was just released, and we simply want to know if the Battle Royale game will also come to mobile phones soon. On Twitter, one of the players asked where is the mobile version of the game. Another one asked Twitter users if they know when the mobile version of the came will meet the light of the day. Its release was on the 4th of February, and it has become so popular, that it even started to compete with PUBG and Fortnite. The Battle Royale game happens in the same universe as Titanfall, and it was released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Its developer, Respawn Entertainment has announced that 25 million players have registered in the first week of the launch. And the number is growing.
When will the game come from mobile?
The game version for mobile hasn’t been officially announced by the developers, but we expect it to be developed soon. Same happened with PUBG and Fortnite, when they were first released on PC and Console, and then, a few months later, on a mobile phone. EA has tested the popularity of the game, and it will definitely happen for more platforms. We know that EA has released many mobile versions of their games in the past, so why not with this one? – it’s only a matter of time.
Drew McCoy, who’s the lead producer from Respawn, has stated that there’s nothing happening that they can talk about right now, about the mobile or Nintendo Switch ports. That doesn’t mean that it won’t happen eventually.
So when’s the release date?
As said before, nothing is for sure right now. However, there are many hints that EA is already working on it. The CEO of EA has announced at Q3 2019 that they are interested in a mobile version of the game.
