This is for all the Red Dead Redemption 2 fans, who are sitting tight everywhere around the globe. We come with the news.
This week, Rockstar will release a new update for the game, which will – let’s hope – come with a Red Dead Online beta mode. Among the changes, we will see new Free Roam Events, new races and, new Showdown Modes. These will be part of the first proper title update of the game, that will come on the 26th of February, on Tuesday. We think this is the first of many to come.
This update is the best one when it comes to improvements
The update will also come with the first batch of the new clothes, weapons and emotes, which you’ll be able to use for your character in Red Dead Online, as well. It’s also worth mentioning that this update is on the top of the list when it comes to the improvements. It will probably be the start of new one-of-a-kind promotions every week, which is quite nice since we were left without anything since Christmas.
The visibility of the player
They have recently made some changes with regards to the way player’s blips appear on the map. First of all, they are reducing the visibility of the blips when it comes to longer distances. Which means that your map position will not be shown to others unless you are about 150 meters near them. If you’re farther than that, then you’ll only be shown on the map when you’re firing your weapon. Players from other regions and towns will not be visible on the map either. This will prevent other players from targeting other players repeatedly at long distances.
