The wait is finally over! The pre-order for Final Fantasy VII Remake in digital format is up for grabs on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
- Looking at the information in the shop, we see that you will need to clear nearly 4 GB of space for the game, as the file size reaches 3.7 GB.
- The game comes with support for many languages: English, Japanese, Spanish, French, and German.
- Final Fantasy VII is going to be compatible with the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller are the data that can be backed up in the Cloud.
Also, the titles from Square Enix that were PlayStation Exclusives are now being launched on Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
Final Fantasy VII, X, X-2, and XII are also available for the digital pre-order for the Xbox One. Final Fantasy 9 is also available in the Nintendo eShop, on Xbox One and PC via the Windows 10 Store.
Final Fantasy VII – Three Extra Features
The first one to be released is Final Fantasy VII, on March 26, for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. This installment will be a port for the Nintendo Switch, so it’s not an actual full remake. However, it comes with improvements, so you’re playing the original PlayStation Final Fantasy 7, making it the first time it was ever released for the Switch.
According to the press release on Nintendo, the game is almost $17, and will come with the following improvements:
- 3x speed mode
- Ability to turn battle encounters off
- Battle enhancement mode
The content will be playable starting with 26 March.
Other Final Fantasy games in the Nintendo eShop are Final Fantasy XII the Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Final Fantasy IX, and the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition which is “coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019!”
