If you’re missing a good fight, with insane moves and fatalities, then the new Mortal Kombat 11 is for you.
At the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, we have found out that we will have two more characters in Mortal Kombat 11. Noob Saibot, the character from Mortal Kombat II is coming back, and Shang Tsung is returning as the first DLC character.
Everyone has heard or played the fighting series Mortal Kombat, the story of the duo fighters, like Scorpion, or Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, or Raiden. In the new Mortal Kombat 11, we will have many characters returning from all the fighting series, including Mortal Kombat X, the last game. Also, Geras and Kronika will be the new faces introduced to the game.
What do we know about those two new characters is that Geras, is under Kronika service, and the female character is one of the big bad bosses. She is running the show since the beginning of Mortal Kombat, and now we find out due to the story from Mortal Kombat X. We don’t have confirmed news about whether or not Kronika is a playable fighter.
However, Geras is a playable fighter who can summon objects made of stone and sand; he has teleporting powers and time-control abilities.
In recent updates, we know that MK11 will have 25 playable characters. If you want Shao Kahn, you can obtain him by pre-ordering the game.
Moreover, there would be some changes to the combat gameplay. Fatal Blows are now X-Ray Moves and are accessible when the player’s health is below 30 percent. You can use it only once per game, not round. Also, the Crushing Blows are added and similar to the X-Rays attack.
Because of the Flawless Block added to the game, you will have a brief time for a counterattack.
Thanks to the new customization in MK11, you can change the costume pieces, or modify the “Kosmetics” on characters.
Note that MK11 isn’t a direct sequel to MKX.MK11 takes place after the events from MK9, because of Kronika and her time bending powers.
Finally, Mortal Kombat 11 will be available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC on April 23. The price of the game will be $60 for the Standard Edition.
