We have all seen how Samsung’s One UI is the best thing that has happened to the company for its devices. Those of you who own the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 had the best times of their lives for a while, and the same happened to those who got the new Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. However, those who own the older generation of the main series from 2017, might have to wait longer for this. It has been months since beta, and the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+’s update started rolling out in Europe. It is not getting into the Atlantic, and then to the US.
The update comes with the March security update
The update was issued for the Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8+ and users saw the OTA notification. The update comes with the March security update and has about 1600 MB. You need to make sure you have unlimited and of course, fast connection, before you decide to download it.
Once you got it, your device should have Android 9 Pie, with all of its modifications of One UI – night mode, more friendly icons on the bottom of the display.
The OTA will also roll out for the Sprint Galaxy Note 8. It is worth mentioning that the Pie update will also be rolling out to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ for T-Mobile and AT&T. For those of you who have Note 8, there is not much to say. AT&T users will get it soon, but T-Mobile is not that behind, either.
