New Additions to The Sims 4 – Mouse and Keyboard Included
Electronic Arts have released a new patch for The Sims 4 in which they bring mouse and keyboard support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Being an era where consoles had gained power, the support for mouse and keyboard on the devices is less rare. And because of that many PC-users are disadvantaged. However, the good news is coming, The Sims 4 will support those devices, and this will help closing the gap between consoles and PC version of the game.
What Is the Update Revealing?
EA has detailed the update on their website and says that players can connect directly to their system any mouse and keyboard. Some options are included for those devices, like sensitivity or handed-ness in each system’s device options menu. Plugging the devices in the consoles should be simple as that, and you could start the game after that. Xbox and PlayStation consoles use USB for connection of devices or wireless adapters.
Moreover, the use of mouse and keyboard is not the only feature added in the update. The update, V1.14 patch is coming with Lunar New Year content, various tweaks, and some fixes. If you want to connect your devices and play The Sims 4, it’s mandatory to download the update first and install it; you can find it from now because it’s available.
However, The Sims 4 is a game that has joined early to the list of Xbox mouse and keyboard games, but the call is of course, on the developers. More games that support mouse and keyboard are Fortnite, Metro Exodus, Minecraft, Razer Turret that has an officially-licensed solution built for the Xbox One, and many more. Maybe in the future, this option will become more popular and more games will include support for mouse and keyboard. But until then you can enjoy The Sims 4 after your pleasure and choice.
