EA’s popular Apex Legends Season 2 will be unveiled at the EA Play conference which will take place on June 7th at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The conference will be transmitted live for players and supporters to watch online.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson said that the plans for the new edition are ‘big and robust’, concentrating on offering a long-term live service, new seasons with stronger Battle Pass content, new legends, and also thrilling enhancements to the in-game habitat.
EA reportedly announced that the new Apex season will most probably start approximately at the end of the second quarter of the year, or at the beginning of the following one. The current quarter of the year is ending on June 30, and that means the game is not going to take longer to appear.
EA and Respawn Entertainment would launch Apex Legends Season 2 during E3 2019
EA is also focused on ‘advanced negotiations’ to bring the game on the Chinese market, besides creating and developing the second season of the famous game. The title would be released in China for mobile devices, being brought together with other two battle royale games: Fortnite and PlayerUnknows’s Battlegrounds. These two games will also be available on mobile devices and already have mobile versions.
Even though EA is reportedly very excited with the acceptance and how Apex Legends presents itself, it acknowledges that the game’s unexpected rise after its surprise reveals caused issues to Respawn Entertainment, the developer. The company was constrained to learn a few new things concerning the matchmaking, content building, and cheating in the title’s first months.
Although there are still approximately two months until the first season finishes, there is yet time for the apparently leaked L-Star weapon to be implemented into the game. Also, there is apparently scheduled another new character which will appear before the first season is over.
