We now have a new trailer of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake, that the company presented during PS State of Play. This is the first new footage we got in quite some time, but we are just happy that it’s finally here and we get an idea on how the remake will look like.
The trailer reveals more about Final Fantasy 7
The trailer shows footage from the early part of the game. We can see Cloud and all the other members from Avalanche, and how they infiltrate a plant as part of their bombing mission. We also get to know the game’s revamped battle system.
The new Final Fantasy 7 trailer does not last for long, but it ends with a promise that we will get more details soon – probably in June, as part of the E3 2019 press conference of Square Enix. This event will take place on Monday, the 10th of June.
How long do we have to wait until we learn more?
The official page of Final Fantasy shared a message from the Final Fantasy 7 remake director, Tetsuya Nomura, in which he said that fans would not have to wait longer for more details about the game. Most of the plans are ready to be presented, and they will be unveiled next month.
Final Fantasy 7 release date
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake was the first one to be announced during Sony’s E3 2015 presentation. Ever since then, we haven’t gotten much information about the upcoming title.
Nomura was directing the game, that concurred with another highly-anticipated Square Enix title, Kingdom Hearts III. He actually said that directing both of the games made his life more comfortable. The game Kingdom Hearts III launched earlier this year, and we still have no official release date for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
However, since the game will be once again at an E3 event, we should expect that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will launch soon.
