2019 Apple iPhone Prototype Models are out of the Box with all Details Included

Already have some clues about how the 2019 Apple iPhone models will look like, we will notice some changes from the previous versions, one of them found on the back of the phone where we will see the rear cameras assembled in a square in the upper left-hand corner. There will be two rear camera in the case of the iPhone 11R and three in the case of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. According to 9to5mac.com, which grabbed three of the prototype cases for the new iPhones, all three of them will have a square cutout aligning with the reported placement of the module.

Details about the camera? Coming right up!

Even though there are mouths saying the lenses will have a special black coating for the package to be more delightful for the eyes, there is plenty of iPhone users not so happy regarding on how this camera module looks.

We expect a 12MP sensor on the extra camera for the iPhone 11 and 11 Max, having an ultra-wide angle lens with o 120-degree field of view.

If you expect the optical image stabilization on all three iPhone 11 cameras, you will be disappointed because the latest gossips tell us that Apple will hold this feature to include on the 5G iPhones releasing in 2020.

Are the prototype cases real?

We can’t tell if they are rumored or real schematics based.

Analyzing the cases, we can see the mute, side and volume buttons placed on the iPhone 11R and iPhone 11 exactly as they are found on the iPhone XR and iPhone XS. Judging by the cases, the buttons of the iPhone 11 Max will be placed a little lower than their placement on the iPhone XS Max.

We all heard people talking about the fact that Apple wanted to change the size of the screens for the 2019 iPhone models, but, being more realistic, we are pretty sure that the company will have for the Apple iPhone 11 a 5.8 inch OLED screen, for the IPhone 11 Max a 6.4-inch OLED screen and for the iPhone 11R a 6.1-inch LCD panel.

We are all expecting from Apple to install a Type-C port as a replacement for the proprietary Lightning port, but that will not happen until 2020. It is possible to see, instead of that, a USB-C to Lighting dongle included in the box. Another cool thing included in the purchase of a 2019 iPhone will be an 18W USB-C unit so the iPhone users won’t be forced anymore to pay $29 extra to have a fast charging adapter.

Reverse wireless charging and new “Underwater Mode” for the 2019 iPhone Models

The characteristic first found on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and then on the Samsung Galaxy S10 series could now be found on the new iPhones. The reverse wireless charging will make a 2019 iPhone possible to use as a wireless charging pad for the AirPods, the Apple Watch or some other compatible handset.

For this reason, it’s possible to see an improvement in the capacity of the battery for all three models. A battery in the range of 3491mAh to 3650mAh for the iPhone 11 Max is expected, comparing it with the 3174mAh battery of the iPhone XS Max; in the case of iPhone 11 is expected a battery of 3189mAh to 3322mAh, comparing it with the 2658mAh capacity battery found on iPhone XS. The analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who made all these assumptions about the battery capacity for the new 2019 models, it was not sure if the iPhone 11R will have an upgraded component of the iPhone XR which has the best battery life of the iPhone history. If it will, than the battery capacity for the new 11R will be 3089mAh.

The feature allowing users to take pictures underwater could get some improvements that allow the screen to work with touch inputs even when wet.

But why even bother to improve this feature if the water damage is not covered by Apple’s warranty, even though the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max have an IP68 rating, allowing them to be submerged in nearly five feet of water for up to 30 minutes? We haven’t heard a lot of users that, after paying the price for an iPhone, will risk using the “Underwater Mode”. Something needs to change in the terms of water protection or in the warranty so people can enjoy this feature.

As expected, we will wait for Apple to present the 2019 iPhones in September, this year and while waiting, we will analyze more rumors and renders.

Maybe the announcement of some of the new features of iOS 13 on WWDC 2019 taking place these days will help us have a clearer picture of the generation of iPhone models to come.
