Final Fantasy 7 Remake Could Appear At E3 2019 – Here’s What We Know So Far

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 7 Remake at E3 2015 when the Japanese gaming company revealed the first details on the remastered version of the popular Final Fantasy title. However, since then, we have only received some shallow info regarding Final Fantasy 7 Remake. But the waiting time is now ending for the fans of the series because Square Enix is about to present the game at E3 2019.

Among all the reveals regarding Final Fantasy 7 Remake, the most considerable one is the latest trailer revealed by the gaming company at Sony’s State of Play on May 9th. The trailer ended with the text “more to come in June,” hinting to a presentation for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake during the  Square Enix’s panel at E3 2019.

However, the Japanese gaming company has not yet confirmed the presence of the remastered version of FFVII at E3 of this year, but everything suggests it. But, that’s more, because some speculations even said that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would be playable at E3 2019.

Here’s what we know so far about Final Fantasy 7 Remake

First, we have to say that the 1997 original Final Fantasy 7 is among the most popular titles of the Final Fantasy series. However, Final Fantasy 7 Remake would be an entire overhaul of the initial release. More precisely, Square Enix recreated the remake version from scratch. However, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake would have the same storyline.

It would even have the same characters and locations, but it would present itself as a modern-day game, with improved combat in a third-person perspective, that besides the revamped graphics and audio elements.

Also, the executive producers that were behind the 1997 Final Fantasy 7 are, in their majority, present at the production of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Thus, we should expect a great title in the same lines as the original release, in terms of storyline, at least. However, we hope that Square Enix would indeed reveal more details on Final Fantasy 7 Remake at E3 2019, maybe even including a playing session of the game.
