League of Legends Patch 9.12 Goes Live on June 12: What to Expect?

The latest PBE patch that will roll out to the live servers in League of Legends is Patch 9.12. Tonight, for nearly three hours, the servers will be closed for the release of the patch. Let’s see all the balance changes coming with this patch.

Before we get into these details, remember that these are not the official patch notes, but we will immediately add them in a new article as soon as they show up.

League of Legends Patch 9.12 Schedule

On the NA server status page, we learn that the patch 9.12 will roll out on June 12. At 01:30 PT (08:30 UTC) ranked queues will be disabled and at 03:00 PT (10:00 UTC), the servers will be shut down for three hours. Other times:

  • ranked queues disabled at: 03:30 UK Time (EUW)/ 01:30 CEST (EUNE) / 03:30 Sydney Time (Oceania)
  • server shutdown at: 05:00 UK Time (EUW) / 03:00 CEST (EUNE) / 05:00 Sydney Time (Oceania)

The official patch notes are not yet ready, but we might see the following changes that were made in 9.12 PBE. Let’s check a summary of the changes below – some champions have extensive changes, and you can check them at the links provided in their description.

League of Legends Patch 9.12 – What to Expect?

First of all, we’ll get to see the reworked Mordekaiser. If you haven’t checked him out, head over to this reveal, where we talked about his new abilities. Qiyana, the new champion is being tested in 9.13 PBE and should be released at the end of this month.

Balance Changes

Aatrox

  • Passive – Deathbringer Stance:

Cooldown changed to [24-12 across champion level] – from [15]

  • R – World Ender

Healing bonus changed to [self healing only] – from [all incoming healing]

Ashe

  • W – Volley

Cooldown lowered to 14/11.5/9/6.5/4 – from 15/12.5/10/7.5/5

Caitlyn

Base AD increased to 60 (from 58)

Irelia

  • E – Flawless Duet

Range lowered to 775 – from 850

Cooldown is increased to 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 –> compared to Live values – 14/13/12/11/10

Karma

  • Q – Inner Flame

Slow potency increased to 35% – from 25%

  • E – Inspire

Movement speed duration increased to 2.5 – from 1.5

Mana cost lowered to 50/55/60/65/70 – from 60/65/70/75/80

Lulu

  • E – Help, Pix!

Shield increased to 80/115/150/185/220 – from 70/105/140/175/210

Mana cost lowered to 60/65/70/75/80 – from 60/70/80/90/100

Malphite and Wukong

Nautilus

  • Q – Dredge Line

Damage in early levels lowered to 80/130/180/230/280 – from 100/145/190/235/280

Ryze

– the Rune Mage has many changes in PBE – the full list can be found here (added on June 3), with the following changes (added on June 6):

  • Base Stats

– Base mana lowered to 300 – from 400

– Mana Regen increased to 8 – from 6

  • Q – Overload

Damage increased to 80/105/130/155/180 – from 60/85/110/135/160 –> compared to Live values – 80/100/120/140/160

  • W – Rune Prison

Bonus mana increased to 4% – from 1% (current Live values)

Mana cost changed to 40/55/70/85/100 – from 50/60/70/80/90 (current Live values)

  • E – Spell Flux

Damage lowered to 60/80/100/120/140 – from 70/90/110/130/150 (current Live values)

Mana cost lowered to 40/55/70/85/100 – from 60/70/80/90/100 (current Live values)

  • R Realm Warp

Overload damage against targets marked with Flux lowered to 40/70/100% – from 50/75/100%

Sylas

– Sylas the Unshackled has a lot of changes in PBE – the list can be found here (added on June 2), and additional changes here (added on June 5). In short, he’s getting nerfed.

Tahm Kench

  • Devour (W)

Champion spit lockout time after animation lowered to 0.25 – from 1

[New] Allies can no longer release themselves from Devour early whole affected by enemy loss of control effects (stun, suppression, fear, etc)

Allied champion spit range lowered to 250 – from 400

Devour damage changed to [60/105/150/195/240 (+9/10/11/12/13% target max health)] — from [100/135/170/205/240 (+5/7/9/11/13% target max health)]

Warwick

  • Q – Jaws of the Beast

AP ratio increased to 100% – from 90%

Yuumi

Base HP increased to 480 – from 432.36

  • Passive – Bop N’ Block

Mana refund lowered to [30-160] – from [40 – 160]

Shield AP ratio lowered to 30% – from 40%

  • W – You and Me

“Enemies now gain an assist on Yuumi when damaging her attached ally. This will prevent things like execute while safely attached.”

“Dash is now interrupted by ANY immobilizing CC (Same as Yasuo E now)”

Adaptive share changed to [5/7/9/11/13 (+4/7/1013/16%)] – from [5/9/13/17/21%]

Zac

  • W – Unstable Matter

Damage increased to 25/40/55/70/85 – from 15/30/45/60/75

  • R – Lets Bounce

Knockback changed to [250 units from target] – from [400 units from Zac’s center] – so units hit by Zac will be knockbacked away from him 250 units.

Now will only drop max 1 blob per bounce when hit

Item Changes: Corrupting Potion

Bonus magic damage over 3 seconds changed to [20 at all levels] – from [15 – 30 based on level]
