Even though Cyberpunk 2077, the most recent development of CD Projekt Red will not get to the expecting fans until next year in April, players may have to start making arrangements for the huge first-person shooter game. Well, this is quite literally, as the title’s install size reportedly looms around 80 GB.
The European PlayStation Store announces that a minimum of 80 GB is needed in order to install the game on the console. It is also probable that the install size is not an accurate placeholder, as Reddit user PhoOhThree reportedly said in the Cyberpunk Discord that CD Projekt Red is not yet done with the game and that the install size can turn out to be ‘more or less at the end.’
CD Projekt Red’s 20115 action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including all its free and paid DLC needs a minimum of 50 GB to get installed. Until this date, the Polish developer of the game has made no official announcements regarding the final size of the expected title.
However, 80 GB is not big enough to beat other games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, which has 105 GB or Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, coming with a size of 101 GB.
Ingenious action star Keanu Reeves, who plays the iconic rocker boy Johnny Silverhand made an appearance on Microsoft’s Xbox stage during E3 conference of 2019 to unveil the game’s launch date. There was also an expanded gameplay demo on the show floor, which will be revealed during PAX West this year in August or September, as the event takes place between August the 29th and September the 2nd.
As we speak, a free Cyberpunk 2077 theme can be accessed at the moment on PSN. As we mentioned above, the widely expected Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April the 16th, the year 2020.
