There have already been some brainstorming moments to decide whether the ceremony will be organized with guests or will have a hybrid form, as were the Emmy Awards, mostly online. One thing is certain, however: the Academy has announced that it will prioritize the health and safety of all.

Soderberg, winner of the Oscar for Best Director in 2001 for “Traffic,” was recently praised not only for his films but also for leading the working group to the Directors Guild of America. His role was to deal with the guidelines for industry safety in the COVID-19 pandemic.
