Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has announced plans to release 2021. In addition to mentioning that they are looking forward to releasing movies in theaters, company officials also said that Marvel is working on a new “Fantastic Four” film, directed by to Jon Watts. The director is known, among other things, for his film “Spider-Man”.
Another important announcement was that the film “Black Panther II”, directed by Ryan Coogler, is still in the works, but that the character of Chadwick Boseman will not be replaced. The 43-year-old actor died in August from colon cancer diagnosed 4 years ago.
“Boseman’s performance was symbolic and transcends any iteration of the character from any other medium in Marvel’s past. That’s why we’re not going to replace the character, “said Kevin Feige, president of Marvel.
