Nokia X50 is the successor to Nokia 8.3 5G, equipped with 108MP camera

Even though the manufacturer HMD Global has made great efforts for the most visible promotion, the current top of the range Nokia 8.3 5G failed to impose itself, all hopes being moved to the successor Nokia X50.

Appearing in a James Bond movie (meanwhile postponed), the Nokia 8.3 5G ultimately failed to impress, reaching the market with an already outdated design and features. Despite the promotion efforts, too few were impressed by the design that did not give up the Nokia logo placed immediately below the screen and the construction too bulky compared to other competing products. The level of features was not a special one either, Nokia 8.3 5G entering the offers of the stores as a phone too expensive for what it offers.

Even if not at the level of a low-cost flagship, the successor to Nokia X50 comes with the name of the SM7350 model, powered by the Snapdragon 775 chipset, significantly faster than its 765G predecessor.

The list of extra features for the Nokia X50 would include a 108MP camera, most likely based on the ISOCELL HM2 sensor, already found in other phones in the upper mid-range. The competitive advantage could be given by the lenses optimized by Zeiss specialists. The photo arrangement will additionally offer ultra-wide cameras, macro telephoto and depth.

If the original Nokia 8.3 5G came with a 4500 mAh battery, the successor to the X50 would raise the capacity to 6000 mAh, with considerable benefits on the battery life side.

According to rumors, the successor to the Nokia X50 will be launched in the second half of this year.
