MiHoYo created the action role-playing game Genshin Impact, which is distributed worldwide by HoYoverse and published by MiHoYo in mainland China. It was delivered back in 2020 for multiple platforms, such as Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC, on PlayStation 5 in 2021 and is set for discharge on Nintendo Switch.

The fantasy world of Teyvat, where Genshin Impact takes place, is home to seven nations, each of which is associated with a distinct element and is ruled by a distinct god. The story follows the Explorer, a layered traveler who, toward the beginning of the game, is isolated from their twin kin after the two lands in Teyvat. After that, the Traveler and Paimon, their guide, travel across the Tevyat nations in search of the missing sibling. En route, the two become close acquaintances with a horde of people and start to unwind the secrets of the land.

In other words, it’s pretty difficult not to become a fan of Genshin Impact while you play it, as long as you are into action RPGs. But can you play the game on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S console? That’s one of the most asked questions regarding Genchin Impact, and it’s time to shed some light on the subject.

Genshin Impact is NOT available on Xbox consoles

Genshin Impact is currently unavailable on Xbox consoles, whether we’re talking about the new Xbox Series X and Series S that came out in late 2020 or the much older Xbox One that’s already a decade old. The situation causes concerns about the game’s potential to reach more players, although nobody can deny that there are already millions of people who play Genshin Impact.

It’s important to keep in mind that rumors suggest Microsoft may have overlooked the opportunity to include the game on Xbox. Despite the game’s success on other platforms, the consoles are receiving a cold shoulder, leaving fans questioning the possibility of Genshin Impact’s return to the popular action RPG.
