How Do I Enable the Vanish Mode on Instagram?
To begin, you need to ensure that you have the most recent version of the Messenger and Instagram applications installed.
Step 1: Open Instagram on your device.
Step 2: After that, in the top right, you’ll see an icon that says “direct or messenger.” Tap it.
Step 3: Open any chat window for which you want to enable the disappear mode.
Step 4: After that, to activate the disappear mode, just swipe up from the bottom of your device’s screen.
Once you have activated the Vanish mode, all of the read messages will be removed from the inbox. How cool is that?!
What do you do if you wish to disable the Vanish mode on Instagram?
Even simpler is the process of turning off the Vanish mode. Follow these steps:
1. If you want to disable the disappear mode, enter the chat window that you have the vanish mode enabled for and click the Disable button or;
2. Do a second swipe up from the bottom of the screen or press the text that reads “turn off vanish mode” at the very top of the chat window.
TIP: the disappear mode will be switched off when you exit the chat window. This will take effect immediately.
