HiMovies Alternatives: What Are the Best Platforms to Stream Movies?

Let’s be honest on this one: finding a streaming service that offers movies in high-quality isn’t actually a walk in the park, but good things come to those who wait. In other words, if you search long and deep enough, chances are great that you’ll find plenty of streaming services that offer content in more than acceptable video quality. One of those platforms is HiMovies, a streaming service that offers movies in Full HD.

HiMovies offers access to both pristine movies, as well as to ‘oldies but goldies’. If you want to see a classic comedy such as Dr. Strangelove from 1964, for instance, the platform can most likely provide it to you. If, on the other hand, you wish to see the 2022 war movie All Quiet on the Western Front, with Felix Kamerrer in the main role, searching for the title in HiMovies is also a good idea.

In other words, HiMovies has something for everyone. The platform is even compatible with a wide variety of platforms, such as Windows computers, MacBooks, and mobile devices (Android and iOS, of course).

However, we all know how the world goes and how human nature is: we get bored of everything, and our standards always go higher. In other words, we could have reasons to remain unimpressed and unsatisfied by what HiMovies has to offer. That means that opting for alternative streaming platforms becomes a great idea, and guess what? We have lots of them in our list below!

Vudu

Vudu is not exactly the kind of platform teeming with movies and TV shows, but there are still some strong arguments why you may find the service appealing. Vudu gives you the chance to buy or rent content for very low prices. As you’ve already guessed, most of the movies and TV shows that exist on Vudu won’t be free of charge for you to watch, but that shouldn’t stop you from at least checking out the service!

USTVGO

The best aspects about USTVGO that need to be mentioned are that the platform is free of charge and that it doesn’t have any ads to bother you. In other words, the devs won’t charge you a dime for using the platform, and you won’t have to go through any annoying process of hitting ‘X’ numerous times.

Otherwise, USTVGO has cable-only content from most of the US TV features. However, you need to keep in mind that the platform’s interface isn’t too friendly. In other words, you might have some trouble trying to figure it out, but hey, it’s still not rocket science!

Cineb

Cineb is a relatively new service, but don’t let its age fool you! It remains a very solid alternative to HiMovies. The chances are great that you’ll find some of the latest movies available out there in Cineb due to the platform’s “Trending” area. In other words, you will most likely get to see Margot Robbie’s flawless and beautiful appearance in her latest film called Barbie.

Compared to USTVGO, Cineb does have ads, but there aren’t many! In other words, you could consider that they are tolerable. The devs behind this latter platform constantly update the service in order to satisfy the public’s needs, so feel free to give it a try!

MyBundleTV

MyBundleTV is a bit different than the other platforms in the sense that it’s more like a list of links to other services that you can use to watch your favorite movies and shows. In other words, MyBundleTV doesn’t have its own videos, but that shouldn’t be considered a flaw. The service even makes you watch movies in 4K quality, which is a bit rare for a streaming service since many of them don’t even offer HD quality.

Pluto TV

No, Pluto TV doesn’t host movies made on Pluto, as far as we know. We are even pretty sure that nobody watches movies or another type of video content on the dwarf planet. Pluto TV offers access to top movies and TV shows from Comedy Central, MTV, and other major companies.

Pluto TV won’t even bother its users with ads, which is a win-win scenario. Furthermore, the service is free of charge.

SolarMovie

SolarMovie allows people to watch their favorite movies based on the genres they’re interested in. Alternatively, they can also search for movies based on country or the launch date.

You need to keep in mind that if you’re one of those folks who can’t stand ads, such as many of us, you will definitely find SolarMovie not a suitable service. This platform is teeming with ads, but hey, we can’t blame anyone, after all! That’s how websites can make a buck or two, by allowing ads on them!

YouTube

You may have already heard about YouTube. The platform can also be used to watch full movies and TV shows, not just trailers and relatively short videos where everybody is an expert at anything. Older movies, such as those from the ’80s, ’70s, or ’60s  are more likely to be found on YouTube in full-length. Don’t worry, as there were numerous great movies released during those decades!

In the end, if you still want to stick to HiMovies, you must keep in mind that creating an account is mandatory. However, there’s nothing difficult in that area. Just carefully choose a username and a password, confirm your account from the link that will be sent to you via email, and that’s all!
