Jean-Claude Van Damme and Megan Fox Lend Their Voices in Mortal Kombat 1

NetherRealm Studios

In the next edition of Mortal Kombat, Jean-Claude Van Damme brings to life a character named Johnny Cage, and Megan Fox provides the voice of Nitara. We are only a few days away from the release of one of the much-awaited games, Mortal Kombat 1! And the fact that Van Damme would voice a unique skin for the character Johnny Cage is incredibly exciting news, particularly for those who are fans of the Bloodsport movie. The appearance of the character’s skin is far too close to that of the much-loved character Frank Dux from the action movie Bloodsport, released in 1988.

Check out the new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer below and take a glimpse at Van Damme’s character:

And that’s not all! The voice of Megan Fox, who is most known for her role in Transformers, may be heard in Mortal Kombat 1, too! The actor plays the role of Nitara, a cool vampire who makes a return appearance, one that’ll definitely stir quite the buzz. Sleek!

I really like her. She is a vampire, which obviously resonates for whatever reason, said Megan.

In the trailer that reveals how Nitara will be making a comeback to Mortal Kombat 1,  Fox discusses her time voicing the character as well as the resemblance of the MK1 character with her film Jennifer’s Body. Watch the jaw-dropping promo video down below:

Huge Jennifer’s Body reference, isn’t it?! Fans of the movie will adore this!

Reports indicate that well-known and beloved characters from movies and television shows, such as Homelander from “The Boys,” Peacemaker from “The Suicide Squad,” and Omni-man from “Invincible,” will also be playable in the video game Mortal Kombat 1. The game, which will be available for purchase on September 19, will be playable on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Windows platforms. The early access release for the game will take place on September 14 for those who’ve already pre-purchased it.
