Did you know that you need to have a data plan through your carrier that gives you access to high-speed LTE data or 4G connectivity in order to link your phone to the Internet? Although many carriers utilize a variety of network protocols and services, connecting to their networks always requires the configuration of particular parameters beforehand. What Are the Updated Verizon APN Settings?

As mentioned previously, an Access Point Name, also known as an APN, is a gateway that connects a mobile GSM, GPRS, 3G, or 4G mobile network to a different computer, most often the public Internet. It is of the utmost importance to ensure that these settings are always up to date and in great working order.

You can always ask your carrier to walk you through the entire process of upgrading your APN if you need any further information.
