Evolving certain Pokemon after you capture them is historically known as a pretty difficult process in Pokemon video games. That’s because not all Pokemon want to evolve. We can find some good examples if we take a look back at the Pokemon anime, as Pikachu and Bulbasaur, two of the show’s most important characters, didn’t want to evolve.
Finizen is a Water-type Pokemon that we can see starting Generation IX. It’s a pretty stubborn Pokemon, as it evolves in a way not seen in any other Pokemon out there. Finizen evolves into Palafin, but let’s see how to make it evolve!
Get a friend and play the game together
First and foremost, you need to play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a friend to make your Finizen evolve and have that Pokemon at level 38. Once you get a Finizen, you need to go to Union Circle and form a group. The next step will be to invite a friend.
You will have to level up your Finizen once with your friends, and that will do the trick to make the Pokemon evolve.
If you’re not satisfied with your new Palafin, which has evolved from Finizen, you need to know that you can also get the hero form of the new Pokemon by using Flip Turn during a battle. There’s also the shiny Finizen that you can get, and you can find it in the areas where the Pokemon normally spawns.
Let’s face it: playing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can surely be a lot of fun, as the game can grant you countless hours of excitement even if you’re a Pokemon fan or not!
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console, and it was developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo.
