While many people are happy that the 5G technology is getting more and more predominant across the world, there are also those folks who are hardcore conspiracy theorists. These people from the latter category claim that 5G is evil and a tool for degrading the environment and our health as individuals.

The spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are to blame for the negative perceptions of the 5G technology that some people have. However, scientific authorities have debunked the false claims linking 5G to the spread of the COVID virus or suggesting that the technology can cause various health problems.

What are the benefits of 5G?

Now that we know that those who claim 5G to represent an evil scheme are in great error let’s speak about the benefits that this technology can offer to many of us:

How safe is the 5G technology?

Those who are critics and skeptics when it comes to 5G argue that the increased frequency of electromagnetic radiation associated with the controversial technology may have adverse effects on the health of humans. They cite studies that suggest a possible connection to various health problems. Furthermore, the deployment of a vast network of small cell antennas needed for the 5G infrastructure has raised other concerns when it comes to the environment. This has led to debates when it comes to the possible impact of 5G on wildlife and ecosystems.

Those who have preponed the 5G technology assert that it is safe and that stringent regulations are in place to reduce any adverse effects. They emphasize the positive impact on economies, industries, and daily life. The outcome would be a connected world with endless possibilities.

5G is indeed a good thing, but whether it is really needed by any individual out there can be another interesting topic. Society was able to get along with life even without 5G, 4G, smartphones, social media, and so on.
