Red Dead Redemption 2 is quite an awaited game which will bring Rockstar Games more fame and massive success as well.
However, it Red Dead Redemption 2 will be as popular as GTA Online and GTA 5, the company might not consider the release of GTA 6 necessary and delay it.
We were previously used to getting a Grand Theft Auto game every five years, but that tradition was broken because Rockstar Games decided to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 this year instead. The success GTA Online had was overwhelming, and the studio was surprised by it.
In October of 2016, we were announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 would exist and be released as soon as it is done. However, it took the company two years to get it ready for the shelves.
This game is being released so late because, according to Rockstar, it needed further polish. Some analysts think that it was thanks to another reason, the online mode of the game.
Red Dead Online is also very successful, and in November this year, the beta form will be released. Maybe this is why the standard version was delayed.
In case the company will receive the success they want with both Red Dead Redemption 2 and the online version of it, that would result in a delay of the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6.
The base game still sells well, so the company does not go out of success. That must be could news because we would not get any games if the company were not successful.
GTA is such a lucrative product that we doubt Rockstar will choose to take a break from it no matter its rivals.
