The iPad Pro 3, also known as the iPad Pro 2018 is expected to be launched by Apple this month. Recently, an image shared by Mysmartprice surfaced online, showing the upcoming device’s case, supposedly designed by accessory maker UAG. Besides this, some other juicy details have been leaked as well.
The image
Mysmartprice reported that the photo for the iPad Pro 3 comes with a UAG-made case meant to allow the tablet to rest in a position similar to that of a laptop. It can also be noticed that the case has a dedicated slot, which we think is meant for the Apple Pencil.
The screen
The iPad Pro 3 is supposedly going to come with two display sizes, 10.5/11 and 12.9 inches. Last week there were rumors about Apple keeping the same resolution as it was on the 2017 version. An interesting nugget found inside of the iOS 12.1 beta led to reports about the tablet’s featuring of 4K HDR video output.
The shooter
The back of the tablet will come with a 13MP camera which will have Auto Flash, Digital Zoom, Touch to focus support and Face Detection. The front camera will be an 8MP selfie one. HDR and Exposure compensation are other camera features which you will discover.
Other details
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro 3 will have an Apple A10X Fusion processor, Face ID and USB Type-C. Also, there seems to be a rumor about Apple deciding to eliminate the headphone jack.
When should we expect it and how much will it cost?
At first, we believed that last June was going to be the launch time, since the previous models were released in June 2017. Now, we expect it to arrive this month, and the price seems to fixate around $885.
