During the most recent Pokemon GO event, the so-called “Hatchathon,” Niantic added 11 new Pocket Monsters. The event brought Gen 1, 2, and 3 Pokemon which have new evolutionary forms in Gen 4. Now, Niantic decided to add missing Gen 4 evolutions to Pokemon GO.
Initially, the company announced Ryhorn, Porygon, and Magby specifically, but, also, all the Pokemon with missing evolutions might be hatchable. The Niantic’s announcement looks like implying that just a few of the pre-evolved forms will hatch from eggs. And, indeed, so far in the game, only some Pokemon possess the ability to evolve to their final form.
