Nowadays, the majority of video games are so detailed that they are not only needing performant video graphics cards and powerful CPUs to run it but they also require a lot of storage space, mainly for the graphics files. The same issue is affecting video games consoles, especially the Xbox One. However, Square Enix revealed new details on Kingdom Hearts III, more specifically, on the size of the upcoming action-RPG.
According to the recently released information, Kingdom Hearts III would occupy only 35.8 GB of space. That is not the smallest figure, though, but in comparison to other modern games, 35.8 Gb size is quite accessible even for those who don’t have a lot of internal storage space.
Even more, the game has more than 80 hours of content, so 35.8 Gb is quite small when you take that aspect into account.

However, the Kingdom Hearts III install package size revealed above is for Xbox One and nothing has been shown regarding the PlayStation 4. But it shouldn’t be very different so PS 4 owners should also expect a game of around 35 Gb.
Currently, Kingdom Heart III is in the works for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and it is set to come out on January 29th, 2019. On the other hand, Square Enix revealed nothing about a potential port for PC or Nintendo Switch.
“Having learned that all their struggles thus far were engineered by Master Xehanort in his plot to start another Keyblade War, Sora and his friends continue their search for seven guardians of light capable of standing against the coming darkness. King Mickey and Riku seek out Keyblade veterans from the past, while Sora, Donald, and Goofy begin a new odyssey across Disney worlds to claim the ‘power of waking,'” as Square Enix describes the game.
