Showbox was everyone’s favorite app for watching TV shows and movies. We use “was” because the app has been taken down. At the moment we are not sure whether Showbox will make a return or not. We shouldn’t really be surprised that the app is down, as watching movies and TV shows for free does create some legal issues. However, don’t lose hope. Here are some alternatives for Showbox:
TeaTV
TeaTV is very simple to use and it comes with a friendly user interface. It works for Windows, Mac and Android and it has a large collection of movies and shows. You can also download videos in FHD and HD quality.
Hulu
Hulu is an amazing alternative for Showbox. It comes with fresh content on a daily basis and you get to stream the newest movies and TV shows. However, you do have to pay for this service. The good news is that there are free trials, so you can try it out.
Moviebox
This might be the best app to replace Showbox with. That is because the application is basically Showbox’s twin. There aren’t many differences. However, the supported languages are different. Showbox supports many languages, while Moviebox comes with support only for Russian and English.
Popcorn Time
The app allows you to stream unlimited movies and TV shows and it is very simple to use it, as it comes with support for multiple languages. You can also use it with your smart TV. Popcorn time is available for Android, Linux and iOS.
Crackle
This app comes with extra functions. For example, you can save content to your favorites list and create playlists. Crackle also comes with a search feature that allows you to find the movies and shows that you want to watch.
