The PlayStation website has just published their list with the free games for PS Plus users for the next month. Whoever has a paid subscription to the online service can also grab free games and add them to their library.
With all the Christmas shopping and huge discounts in the PS store, we know gamers would be happy to get their hands on some free games to play during January or in the future. Here are the games that will be available starting with 1 January.
PS4 Free Games For PS Plus Users
The first free game is Steep, published by Ubisoft. If you’re excited about the winter season and sports, then this game is for you. It is an open world sports game where you can explore the mountain and try awesome sports like ski, snowboard, and you can even drop from the mountain in a wingsuit or with a paraglider!
The second free game is the one from 505 Games – Portal Knights. This fantastic RPG is a little bit similar to Minecraft, as you get to play in a randomly generated world, mine for resources and build structures. You can do this alone or with a team of maximum three other players in multiplayer co-op mode. It’s definitely a great couch game to enjoy with friends.
PS3 and PS Vita Games For PS Plus Users
PS3 owners will get Zone of the Enders HD Collection, which is a mech adventure game. The second free game is Amplitude, a rhythm game. The PS Vita players will get Super Mutant Alien Assault and Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion – the latter is also available on PS4.
Another goodie for PlayStation Plus users is a Booster pack from Digital Extremes’ Warframe. You can grab a Warframe: PlayStation Plus Booster Pack III starting today and it’s available until 15 January. The pack contains 100 Platinum, 100,000 Credits, Quanta, Quanta Obsidian Skin, 7-Day Affinity Booster, and 7-Day Credit Booster.
