Grand Theft Auto Online is an online (obviously) multiplayer video game that came from Rockstar Games. In was first released in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and then it was released in 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Then, the Microsoft Windows version came out in 2015. This game is the multiplayer version of Grand Theft Auto V. It is set in San Andreas – based on Southern California – and it allows up to 30 players to get into the open world and get in cooperative or even competitive game matches. You’re allowed to roam around freely in San Andreas, thing that includes the open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos – which is, as you guessed, based on Los Angeles.
Players can enjoy soccer without Rocket League
As of now, those who play Grand Theft Auto 5 can enjoy car soccer, without actually having to fire up Rocket League, and it’s all thanks to a new mode in the Grand Theft Auto Online. A part of the Arena War update for Grand Theft Auto Online is Bomb Ball, and it went earlier this week with offers of more explosive takes on car combat sports.
We all know that Rocket League is a car-based sport, that’s not violent, but Rockstar has implemented a lot more of Mad Max in this entire formula.
In Grand Theft Auto Online’s new holiday update, Rockstar describes the whole situation this way: people don’t really understand the rules of soccer, even if they get behind the aggression and the mob-rule. The new Arena War Mode Bomb Ball is really getting rid of all the restrictions on violence, and it really comes down to all the important stuff: putting the explosive devices into the other’s team half, before they actually get to go off.
