As one of the most important companies in the world, Apple is always in the news, whether with a new product, feature or update. The past week came with many interesting new things and we are ready to share them with you.
iPad Mini 5 Info
Juli Clover released some interesting details about the iPad Mini 5. Here is what he had to say about the device:
“There’s a vertical camera cutout, suggesting the iPad mini 5 might have a camera arrangement similar to the iPad Pro with a rear flash, and a center microphone cutout. Speaker cutouts at the top and the bottom hint at a possible four-speaker arrangement, and there appears to be a cutout for a headphone jack at the bottom. There is also a cutout at the side, which could mean the iPad mini will get a Smart Connector to support a Smart Keyboard, much like the iPad Pro.”
iOS 12 issues
It appears that the iOS 12.1.2 comes with serious problems. The update lead to mobile data services being cut off all over the world. While Apple claimed that this affects only “cellular connectivity in Turkey for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max”, it appears that the problem is affecting all iPhone models from all over the world. If you haven’t installed the 12.1.2 update it is recommended that you avoid it at the moment.
iPhone XR results
It appears that the iPhone XR did not perform as well as Apple would have hoped to. The sales for November went down considerably especially if we compare them with the iPhone 8 sales from 2017. However, it appears that it has performed better than iPhone X did last year.
