Many have thought that was a hint to a Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 release in 2019, but, in fact, it might suggest that the next Call of Duty 2019 game might be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, a sequel to the popular CoD story arc.
Since Infinity Ward was the developer behind Ghosts title, the franchise’s fans believed that the post was a direct suggestion to a Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 game.
But we should note that Infinity Ward created the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, one of the most appreciated in the Call of Duty franchise, before developing CoD Ghosts and Infinite Warfare.

However, “Ghost” was killed by General Shephard in the game, so in case CoD MW4 would focus on this character, then it would be a sequel to the second episode of the series.
On the other hand, given the success of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Ashton Williams’ tweet might mean that the next Call of Duty 2019 game would be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered.
