When Nintendo Switch Online rolled out last year, it came out with a collection of free NES games. Even though the majority of those games were direct emulations of the classic, original titles, there have been some ports which added new features. Now, according to data miners, SNES games might come to Nintendo Switch Online.
SNES Games Might Come To Nintendo Switch Online
A Twitter user that goes by the name of KapuccinoHeck reported last night that he found a list of SNES games within the NES Online strings. However, Nintendo said nothing to indicate to the addition of SNES games to the Nintendo Switch Online platforms, but the fans requested such a feat to play more of the best Nintendo classics on Nintendo Switch.
In addition to KapuccinoHeck, SnowmealDome, another Twitter users, confirmed the finding of four emulator types within the code lines of the NES Switch app. According to him, one of them hints to SNES, while other two remain unknown, possibly suggesting to other classic Nintendo consoles or some new Switch ones.
