Back in 2011 when Skyrim was released one of the biggest new features in the Elder Scrolls series were the dragons. They were born in Tamriel thanks to Alduin, the World Eater, but the race was long extinct. Alduin is also the primary antagonist of the game. Alduin is eventually defeated by the Dragonborn following the main story of Skyrim, and the Dragon Crisis is brought to an end. What is unfortunate is the fact that we can’t see the aftermath of the event as it is not really detailed by the game. Now that The Elder Scrolls 6 is about to come, will it have dragons?
The return of the dragons in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim
The dragons returned to Skyrim after many centuries of extinction during the aptly-named Dragon Crisis also known as the events which are unfolded in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Casting into the future, we came with the conclusion of the Dragon War. After Alduin returns, he begins resurrecting dragons from where they were buried. Obviously, the World Eater does not want to get bored as the Skyrim’s landscape becomes home to many dragons.
What happened to the dragons after Alduin’s death
The main story of Skyrim had a conclusion, and that consisted of Alduin getting faced by Dragonborn after he enters Sovngrade. The World Eater is defeated, the leader of the Dragon Crisis which also ends. If you are a real Skyrim fan you know, it remained full of dragons. At the end of the game, at least one dragon remains alive.
Do you think that the dragons decided to change their location or they are waiting for you in the sequel of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim? Maybe you have your own theory!
