Apex Legends is the newest Battle Royale game. Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Apex Legends quickly became a very popular and appreciated game, totaling 10 million players in just a few days on the market. Apex Legends would follow the same model as Fortnite, currently the most appreciated Battle Royale title so that it would boast Seasons with exclusive content, weapons, events, and so on.
Now, Apex Legends announced it would start its first Season of content in March. According to Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends roadmap, in 2019, Apex Legends would come with four seasons, lasting about three months each.
As mentioned in the roadmap, the first Apex Legends Season would kick off in March with the launch of the battle pass. It would include several cosmetics that users can grab, but no Legends or other content would reach the game during this First Season of content.

Currently, Respawn Entertainment did not disclose how much would the battle pass cost. Also, according to the Apex Legends roadmap that Respawn Entertainment posted recently, the first new Legends would come into the game during the Season 2 which would kick off in June.
As for new weapons and loot, Respawn Entertainment would add several of them during Apex Legends Season 3 (due to start in September) and Season 4 (which would kick off in December).
In addition to all that, Respawn Entertainment announced that it has plans to improve Apex Legends Battle Royale game throughout the next ten years, and wants to redesign the concept of Battle Royale with different maps and weapons. Nonetheless, Apex Legends plans to challenge Fortnite and PUBG, both of which are currently the most popular and appreciated Battle Royale titles.
Besides, an Apex Legends mobile version is also in the works so that it might come out soon for both Android and iOS.
