Final Fantasy 7 is probably the best Final Fantasy title released so far, according to many gamers and critics. Now, as we speak, a Final Fantasy 7 Remake is under development. But today we’re not going to talk about that since Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy 7 launches on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in March.
“Relive the unforgettable moments from the ground-breaking role-playing games that revolutionized gaming. The original Final Fantasy 7 is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on March 26,” Square Enix reported.
It was 1997 when Final Fantasy 7 launched, initially. It came out with a very well-written storyline with many plot twists, while its gameplay was revolutionary for those times. The game was so good that it still stands as one of the best games ever released and the best Final Fantasy title so far.
Final Fantasy 7 Launches On Xbox One and Nintendo Switch In March
“Final Fantasy VII is the seventh main installment in the Final Fantasy series and was developed and published by Squaresoft. The game follows the story of mercenary Cloud Strife, who is hired by the terrorist group AVALANCHE to help fight the Shinra Electric Power Company. At first, Cloud fights for personal gain. However, he eventually joins forces with others to save the planet due to these beliefs,” reads the game’s description, cited by WindowsCentral.
In a little more than one month, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch gamers would have the chance to play Final Fantasy 7 as the game would come out on the before-mentioned platforms on March 26th, 2019.
However, keep in mind that we’re talking about the original Final Fantasy 7, as the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, one of the most sought-after remastered titles, is still under development. As for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake release date, some reports pointed out to a 2019 launch, but we don’t know for sure.
